New Commercial Offerings Coming to Willoughby Town Centre

Willoughby Town Centre Commercial DevelopmentIf you have visited Willoughby Town Centre in the last few weeks, you may have noticed that some new signage has gone up on the parcel across from Mattu’s, Noma, Dairy Queen and RBC.

This new commercial development will add 41,700 square feet of commercial space in the Willoughby neighbourhood, as the northern Yorkson area continues to grow quickly,

“It’s in the commercial village core, and it provides added retail synergy and critical mass,” Qualico Commercial senior project manager John Anders said.

This two-level development could include a daycare, fitness centre, and specialty retail on the upper level. We also anticipate that there will be a financial tenant, fast food cluster, some specialty food, and other retail on the street level.

The second floor businesses will be accessed via a raised parking deck  which will be on the north side and will allow level access to the store fronts. Additionally, in the centre of the complex there will be pedestrian access.

We expect to break ground in late Spring, and anticipate occupancy in the Summer of 2017.
