Do You Have a Will?

April is Make a Will month, so we visited Brenda at Shergill Notary Public to find out more.

Make A Will Month

Why would you want a will?

A will is the best way to ensure that your estate is distributed to those who you want to inherit from your estate. If you have minor children, you can name who will raise them if both parents die, while your children are minors.

If you die without a will, your estate will be distributed according to the Wills, Estates and Succession Act of B.C.. What this means is that your estate may not be distributed according to your wishes.

Please contact Shergill Notary Public for more information or to book an appointment at 604-371-3200.
