F45 Functional Training Coming to Willoughby

We interviewed Samantha, who with her husband Shawn, are the owners of the new fitness centre offering functional training to Willoughby Town Centre in the Spring of 2018.

F45 Training

What prompted you to make a decision to open an F45 at Willoughby Town Centre?

Long story short – health, fitness and helping others has always been my passion. Having been born and raised in Sydney, Australia, the idea of F45 Training being an Aussie concept really got me sold on the idea.  We chose Willoughby Town Centre  because we live 5 minutes away ourselves. Willoughby is such an up and coming area with so many young families just like ours, now making Willoughby their home.

Shawn and I decided that this concept would be a perfect fit for the Willoughby demographic. Like minded people wanting to get fit and healthy, with very limited time. We are within walking distance for many local residents and are excited to become a part of the local and neighboring community.

Can you share a little about F45 ‘s History and Concept?

F45 Training was founded in Australia in 2012. By the end of 2018, there will be 1000 locations worldwide. The concept is simple: our studios all over the world offer a 45 minute High-Intensity, Circuit Training workout class for our studio members. We have developed 27 different 45 minute workouts, with more currently in development. Our studios offer the same class at different times throughout the day. Every day throughout the week offers a different 45 minute workout. The workouts are created by the F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department from a database of over 3,000 different exercises, so our members never get the same workout twice.

Did I mention, we also have LIVE music by a DJ spinning the tunes for many of our workouts!! We offer a nutrition plan to compliment our workout program. We offer the entire package! Not sure about committing?….You have the choice of a “no commitment” membership too! WIN WIN!!

Stay tuned for our pre-opening Foundation Membership that we will offer to our first 45 member’s 🙂
